Arabian Horse Festival 2026 – Bábolna
Ladies and Gentlemen,
I am pleased to announce that we will once again be holding the Arabian Horse Festival in Bábolna on May 16-17, 2026, at the Bábolna riding arena!
I am enclosing the announcement, which includes the animal health requirements, a list of accommodations, and a registration form, in case you would like to forward it to anyone who might be interested.
Admission to the event is free!
The Show for Arabian thoroughbreds will be held in accordance with ECAHO rules, and for Shagya Arabians, it will be held in accordance with ISG guidelines. A new feature compared to previous years is that the top three finishers in each class will be eligible to compete in the finals, where any horse participating in the finals can win the gold, silver, or bronze championship title, regardless of their placement in their class.
Arabian thoroughbreds will be scored from 1 to 20 (half points are possible!) in 5 criteria by 3 judges, while Shagya Arabians will be scored from 1 to 10 (only whole numbers) in 7 criteria by 5 judges.

A new feature will be the presentation of breeding stallions by breed, including stallions that are not participating in the judging.
On Friday afternoon, the ISG will hold its annual general meeting at the Chamber Theater. Those interested will receive a separate notification about this.
The event will be broadcast live on social media, so it is important that we stick to the planned schedule!
